Business Development Manager

As the Business Development Manager, you will collaborate with the Managing Director to drive sales and expand the client base across Australia. You will excel in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, demonstrating exceptional commercial and technical acumen. Your ability to effectively translate business issues into IT requirements, and vice versa, will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage the existing pipeline and develop new business opportunities.
  • Foster long-term customer relationships by gaining a thorough understanding of their business and needs.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to increase the client base.
  • Write persuasive business proposals.
  • Conduct negotiations with stakeholders.
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
  • Draft and review contracts.
  • Provide reports on successes and areas requiring improvement.

The Ideal Candidate  

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in business development and sales preferably within Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, Endpoint Manager / Intune, and general cloud technologies.
  • High level understating on Cyber security landscape, including endpoint security, cloud-based XDR, application whitelisting, security governance, risk & compliance (Essential 8, ISO, VPDSS), SOC services, pen testing, and security awareness training.
  • Excellent communication skills at a high level.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Experience in designing and implementing business development strategies.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Experience in meeting and exceeding targets.
